Is it possible to use DL in way that isn't cheap? I've been going around and all I see is 3 Domain DL's all over the map along with a handy Altar to Ix. Anybody got suggestions?

Use 3 mediums, 3 soul brokers, 3 beckon the bones, 3 psychic parasites, 5 graveyards,3 psychic parasites, 3 stomachless ghouls, 3 clocktowers, 3 impure impulses, 3 bone fortresses....and just a few other cards. And theres a crappy DL deck. Enjoy

Well, I have an Imperium/DL deck that uses Altar / Plasma / 0-cost IM creatures / Nefarious Research to make flux and cards, then plays Glimpse of Nature into Rithig, Titan Pariah. When it works, it's a beautiful thing to behold. But I haven't been able to bring it to the consistency of my EC-capable decks - it's a far cry from "broken". Actually, let me use this opportunity to solicit some advice from the forum. Here is the deck - how would you make it better? Quote: 1 Imperial Keep 3 Altar of Ix 3 Foul Obelisk
3 Carrion Feeder (lots of corpses near that Altar) 2 Missionary Martyr (or Revenant Bishop) 3 Nether Plasma 1 Ord Beast 3 Pastor of Wrens 3 Rithig, Titan Pariah 3 Serene Templar
3 Anti-Magic Shell 3 Glimpse of Nature 1 Loft Pigeons (Altar+Obelisk+Pigeons = center flux) 2 Rune of Swiftness
3 Gather Spirits 3 Nefarious Research

I don't think DL is especially overpowered. I think any faction is deadly in the hands of a good player. The reverse of that is true also.
I find (right now) when playing against anyone with (rating - incertainty) above 1420 or 30, I will probably lose. Between 1300 and 1420, the games split pretty even. Below 1300, I usually (not always) win.
To me, player skill, both with playing and deck building, makes a larger difference than what kind of deck they are using.

Im fairly sure i could rape some dl decks.....we all know dl is good....and they are prolly the most playable.....but they are far from unbeatable.

Yeah I wouldn't say DL is OP, it is just the easiest domain to make combos with. If you are creative, you can make very good non dl combos.

I think the perception of "strength" and something being "overpowered" is largely dependent on what the dominant players are using at the time.
Having lurked many any hour on these hallowed forums, I think I've seen people argue that almost every domain is OP. Granted, adjustments are made and perceptions change over time as creative people develop new strategies, but I don't pay much attention to these discussions these days... over time... they're all just... too cyclical.
