Another [Suggestion] thread, this time about the interface. What kind of changes would you like to see for the interface? My own suggestions will exclusively pertain to the browser version as I am yet to try the downloadable version. As always, please do add anything you would like to see implemented. I will add another post specifically for the market, so let's leave suggestions regarding the market tab for that post - A Statistics tab (See link to previous topic on statistics in my signature) - A way to set User Status (e.g., idling, afk, open to challenges, not open to challenges, seeking games in various categories) - A Rules tab with the most common rules and regulations stated in a clear and conspicuous way. Links to the Wiki, forum, homepage and other places where full rules can be attained. - More detailed descriptions of the various leagues and how they work - 'Notepad' tab (where you can write down stuff that will be saved for future occasions) - More options to customize your profile (e.g., that it's possible to add MSN and other kinds of stuff that you want people to know about you) - Possibility of recording games and viewing recorded games Will add more stuff later... Cheers

The Market tab has the detail view which makes searching cards much easier because you can see more at a time and scrolling is faster because there are no pictures to scroll. I would like to see this feature added to any tab which deals with cards... Army, Trade, Keep Cards, Zwar, Free Sealed, Domains, etc.

This thread didn't receive much love... Adding two further suggestions that might spur some further ideas (1) A tab with a FAQ What kind of questions (and answers) would you like to see in a FAQ? Here are some things I would like to see: - What do the colours (green, red, yellow) in the lobby mean? - What is the ladder? - How do I get gold? - What is a 'phantom' card? - How do i get cards? - What does 'Similar Player', 'Anyone', 'Custom' and 'Computer' mean? - How do I get a picture for my User Profile? - Do I need to spend real money in order to play? - What is 'Power'? - What is 'Constructed'? - What is 'Limited'? - What do the numbers in brackets mean? - What is 'Expert Clash'? There exist answers to many of these and other questions at the website and the forum. So to each question only a short answer can be given in a FAQ tab (or somewhere on the Interface), with a link to a more thorough answer elsewhere, should that be needed. [EDIT] There is a FAQ on the website but it seems a bit... underdeveloped: http://thefarwilds.com/FAQ.html(2) I played a game (can't remember the name...) where there was an icon with a question mark next to (basically) everything that was in need of explanation in the Interface. So you clicked on the question mark icon and... you got a short explanation of the feature in question. There was also the option of turning these question marks off (all of them or only those you selected). This made it easy to get a basic sense of most things in the game. There was, of course, also more extended game rules etc. on the website and forum. I think this, or something like it, could be a good thing for TFW as well.

Also, friends and enemies list!

Enemy list.. How many people would you add as your enemies? And what would you do with the list? Log off when you are badly outnumbered, that is when number of online friends << number of online enemies?

With a little more depth added to the guilds, an enemy list might be interesting. Allowing guilds to ally and go to war with each other, have guild ratings based on matches started through the enemies list or something along those lines. I know that's a very rough idea, but may spark others to flesh the idea out further.

Well, for example, lets say me and Voices have been battling it out.
Assumingly he would be in the friend list which, when counter approved, would tell us both things like current rating, online or not, last login etc.
Now, i may also place him in the enemylist (at the same time), and add a note: "Won me 4 times." So I can keep track of how many times more I owe it to him to to dunk his deck into a well of flux.

My biggest complaint about the interface is I wish there was an option to make the Army and Trade tabs list the cards like the Market tab. The format of the Army tab is neat because you get to see all the artwork. The downside is the graphics means it takes longer to load and scroll. But on the Market tab, I can get a much better idea of my cards. It is easier to sort them and view cards of only a certain type. I think building armies would be easier if I could view the cards in this fashion.
