1) What do you currently think about TFW's condition? It's a great game! And it's evolving nicely.
2) Was TFW better with or without CI and HoC?With!
3) If you were jed/Altren/whoever else could make changes to the game, what would you immediatly change? I would start experimenting with optional handicap systems, to give newbies a better experience (and vets more fun when playing newbies).
4) Would TFW be in your top 3 MMO list?Number 1. First one I've stayed with in a long time.
5) What MMO's do you think surpass TFW in it's genre? What steps would you take to try to beat the competition if you were jed/Altren/whoever else could make changes to the game?I come from boardgaming rather than MMOs. I'd say the game mechanics is the core of the experience: keep tuning the cards, and be sure to keep the game relying on the core mechanics rather than new tricks.
6) Do you want to change TFW, or is it good to you as it is now? It's great as it is. By carefully boosting the underused cards TFW could get even more varied with a realatively small effort.
7a) Who do you hate the most in TFW? (users)I don't really mind much about the silly stuff a rare few people do.
7b) What do you hate the most in TFW? (concepts)Nothing, really. One small gripe though: I love the card distribution between commons and rare: that the strong, staple cards are mostly commons, while you can sometimes define a whole deck by putting a single rare card in it. It means that trying a very different deck is often possible without buying lots of rares. Some cards don't fit into that scheme though, which might be necessary but still feels a bit frustrating: collecting lots rare cards just to mess around with a non-competitive deck just isn't worth it.
8) Leave additional commentary under this one.Right now I'd say the "thing to achieve" in TFW is winning EC:s. At least that's what in the back of my mind when I think about what I want a successful deck to do. Getting a broader set of stuff to achieve might be a way to keep people playing. Varying the fixed EC schedule a bit would also help some of us to participate more
