Power = Second In-game currency.

I certainly think having the Wilds itself back is great, but it's the wrong platform for a guild war. If you haven't noticed already, there are only three-four major guilds, and naturally those three-four would dominate due to uber playing skills OR strength of numbers *looks at the School of Fish*.

Guild tourney is better IMO.

4-5 more cents:

If you build it, they will come. I guarantee :!:

My suggestion would incentivize players to create more small guilds. Find 3-5 other active players, and you are set for guild tournament battling action. There are more than enough gamers to go around. It is time to take chances and risks in the pursuit of excellence.

Drop all of the guilds that have been inactive for 6+ months. Just totally ship them off to Afghanistan, Arizona, or wherever. ;) They clutter up the guild screen, and serve absolutely no purpose... except to remind everyone that being in a guild means little to nothing. Which is a travesty on par with global warming.

A player would win Glory just like one wins Power or gold now. Only the individual player gets the goods after finishing in the top 4 of a tourney. Of course, they can share with their guildies--or anyone else for that matter. It would be another card in their collection.

I am proposing a totally new kind of expansion here folks. This is something that could be rolled out in 4-6 months. It would be MUCH easier to test than the last expansion for sure. And limiting a deck to 1 ultra-rare only, only would make balancing problems less complicated too. It would prevent these cards from dominating any deck. But, I do believe these cards should be very useful. (My main point is that if you believe, you can achieve for sure).

Glory, ultra-rares, and a new expansion at the end of the year. Comments, objections, support, and especially money are welcome.

TFW citizens:

Very little comment on this thread has surprised me a tad. :o Thus I have narrowed down the question to the following:

What is the general level of interest in having honest-to-goodness guild tournaments on a regular basis?

We can worry about prizes and such later. Maybe peeps are mostly satisfied with the general lack of meaningful purpose that ALL guilds currently possess? I absolutely love the PR symbol for sure. My virtual heart was hoping for more. :| So feedback from more than the usual suspects in this matter would be appreciated.

Good day,

DarkJello

Hello, My name is Noom_bexican, I am not a usual suspect, I've never even posted here >.>
I think guild tourneys would be cool and I hope jed will reveal some crazy guild tourneys so we of the different guild symbols can finally unleash our utter hatred of each other.

Well said nacixem_boon. It seems that stating disinterest brings just the opposite.

I'm thinking that we should split the tournament into four different types.

Wilds Tournament : Exactly liek the original the wilds.
Scramble: Guild members swap opponents each time.
Sealed : All palyer create sealed decks and duke it it out.
Standard : Standard tournament.

I have decided to start with something I can control 107%, which is Fiefdom Royale: Genesis Event. See the News and Updates section for more details.

Once I have tournament running skillZ, I will be more valuable at suggesting a guild battle format. I still think "Glory" would be a super cool prize! And an even cooler expansion of TFW in like 6-12 months. But anywho, back to preparing a tourney... :)

Nefariously,

DarkJello 8-)
