Took out all the joke ideas I put up for this contest (I left the more farfetched of my serious ideas in though :) ). I like the ideas I'm seeing, we might save that grizzly bear and his treetop friend after all, find some new enchant/ spell, rebuff this card.... well, the possilbilities are endless. Simple yet Effective. Idea by yaron and Monyx.

Enchantment
Cast on Uncontrolled building.
Lifespan (4)
When Power Alternation is casted, choose a domain.
This domain can't be in play already. (So - I play DL, the other guy play syl - so I have to choose mf, ele, ci or chaos)

Ability: (doesn't dim)
(2) Gain a level in chosen domain. Any player can use this, domain is provided only to the last user.

Loses all lifespan tokens when the ability is used.

looks complicated .. lol.. but could be fun .. ;D

Here is something simple...
How about leaving the basic card ability, but adding the ability to turn the enchantment on or off? You could either make it free like with Alabaster Palace or cost some flux like with Arcen Moatworks.
It would essentially turn any domain source into an Alabaster Palace. The cost should probably increase from 1 to 2 flux.

this is a variation of huger's suggestion:

misapplied power alteration

1UA (or 1 chaos)

Each player gets a random domain level.

this will allow for more 2-4 domain decks and multidomain decks.
