I have just been looking through rarities of sample decks' cards and I got to say that in opposite to many good things in TFW, the idea of extremely small symbols of rarities that differ few pixels of different colours is wrong, imo.
Plain: Common Uncommon Rare Would be better, really.
Information about rarity on each card should be transparent and visible. Especially if rarities really play any role in the game.
I believe this should be changed and - quite obviously - I would like to know what others think about it.

Just pick any colors that are accessible to anyone who might happen to be color blind. Other than that criteria, I don't care too much what they are. There are plenty of free web resources where you can plug foreground/background colors in and see what they'll look like to people with various kinds of color blindness.
Always a good thing to consider anyways.

The color is already being worked on, it's not a major fix so that's why it's not done yet.

Hmm... Sunyaku added second argument for not using just colour to show the rarity. Thing to considered, I believe

the colors are quite a bit better now, I'm not sure if the colorblind people will have issues still.
But, one thing that would be really nice is a filter by rarity in the deckbuilder

The new rarity color is better but orange is still seems too close to yellow. What about all the other colors out there like green, red, etc?
The suggestion of changing the symbol is a very good one as it would solve the color-blind issue as well.
