First game, I resigned immediately, it had no point (definitely with the rest of my draw, normally good)

the VERY NEXT game, Ata played vs Altren ..

Altren tried to play, credit goes to him, but of course, the result was expectable, more or less. When 2 very good/top players fight each other, terrain makes a big difference..
Concretely, in this EC it decided the winner ..

And at the top of it, EC before where I met Ata .. I had almost the same terrain with only difference - Ata got screwed also ..

I thought this has been solved LOOONG time ago.. apparently not.

Along with other things, like removing power from ECs .. makes me want to quit.
(Or at least take a break, because addicts cannot quit.)

Heh, honestly terrain was pretty good for me and much better than mostly plains/hills maps. :) I usually don't have problems with such maps, because my deck is slow and this only helps me.

I like getting a really odd map from time to time, even if it wrecks the balance. (No TFW games I've played were that important anyway.) I do wish we'd get a few more mountains sprinkled on the maps though: the "spawn on mountain" cards seems a little underpowered ATM because of the risk of having no spawn points.

Yeah, almost every game I play has only 2-6 forests around the map and the rest as plains, hills and deserts. Is this just bad luck, or shouldn't we see more mountains?

P.S. If you do fix the map generator, don't make it so there are too many crazy maps; I like my maps balanced!

I know that it helped your deck, Altren, but generally speaking it screws the player.

Dublone and Zblader had good points also - the lack of certain terrain happens so often ( up to 2 Caprakin Warlocks clog in my hand evry other game I play with them... and they're the card which would have won me the game should there be a place to play them.) ... so either do it, that required terrain is really rare (and it would be calculed with in cards' casting cost) (including forests, deserts, water .. which would make map really boring and Peasant Army would get so big boost (at last)) - or make maps more balanced ...
and at least in ECs .. I would appreciate 'normal' map generator ..

Don't get me wrong... I actually like bad maps, at least after the initial disgust at finding I'm in one. They add a new dimension to the game...

Regardless, I figured I'd post this in tribute... If you'd joined that EC, I'd have faced you in this map...
