I think that Bear Strength and Demonic Surge should have a duration of 1 attack or 1 round rather than 1 round. It's annoying when you've got a low-end creature, already dead, in the middle of your base, that is surged to +6 and keeps getting undimmed and attacking again.
Additional thought: maybe allow those enchantments to last until the next attack is made, ie, they could be surged and left for three rounds as long as the creature didnt attack.

I know demonic surge only lasts one turn - so presumably, with a salamander or something, it could attack more than once with it. But that's kind of rare.

Yeah, while it's certainly a possibility, I don't think it is one that needs to be nerfed.

Their duration of one round works fine. Usually it's for only one attack unless it's paired up with other entities that can undim.

Ord beast + bear strength (in your base) = nasty ... but that's why we have creature control cards. I was luckily able to ascent someone when they tried to do this.

Well think of that combo akin to infinite combos in Magic. They happen, but in this situation not an infinite amount of times.
