Does anyone else notice a huge discrepancy in what you draw vs the AI and a regular match. My decks are usualy around half creature or more, i smash the daylights out of the AI, but every single match against a human opponute, im lucky to see 3 creatures.
Every tournement i enter something screws up, i get no creatures, i draw 7 buildings, it doesnt load and i miss two turns.
I haven't won a game against someone in two weeks, i know how to build decks i know how to play, i've played magic for 13 yrs, tactics and strategy games for 10, i play everything i can get my hands on im not some newb, and i usualy smash everything in the face but with this game everything that can go wrong on me does, any part of this game that is random somehow never goes favorably. something here isn't adding up.
I wouldn't mine losing if i am justifably beaten, and i was doing fine for weeks, but for the swing of every game seems to end on luck, mine, and its bad, be there no way to prove it from my standpoint I think theres something rigged in the game, its impossable for this much bad luck theres a pattern here and it's somehow singled me out for malice.
I've spent money on this game, and since then it seems like the odds stack against me, a devious plot to force players to spend more and more? Heaven forbid but money speaks hard, i don't know whats up with the game, but i have no intention of spending money on a game rigged against me.

Well, I can tell that it's always looks like you have worst draw in final or semifinal battle. Once I had a game with deck containing 20 creatures (deck size was 49) and I got first creature in hand at 15th round! Several time I started on island (and few times I even have won). I'm playing this game for 8 months and I'm sure that everything here is random and fair. There's only one non random thing in your cards and it's called autodraw. P.S. Do not compare game with AI and game with human. AI is dumb and always predictable.

I agree with Alt. I think one of the more intersting aspects of this game is not what you draw, but how you use what you draw to your advantage. If you draw all buildings, and if some of them are buildings that can attack, then your strategy changes. There are plenty of examples, I'm sure you catch my drift. And for the times when you really do get a completely crap-tastic hand, it should bring back warm memories of getting mana-screwed playing MTG!

P.S. -- In the early game (when your hand is always full), I consider the relative strength of each card in my hand against my current situation. If I know there's a good chance something else in my deck will help me out, I discard so that I get a new card next round.
Discarding in TFW can make or break you sometimes!

I've taken a break from the game for awhile, just very aggrevating to KNOW your deck is good and solid, KNOW you have a good understand of the game, sit there and practice out all the quirks get your numbers right, and then anytime you play against someone it doesn't preform like it did the 20 goldfished games, and just gives you a completely ineffective mix of cards the odds of which are astronomicaly against, yet it happens every match that has any weight to it. And i know it sounds like the deck is built wrong, but yeah i went 20 practice games before i started playing it against people, worked beyond expectations, then went to real use and it refused to work like it previously did. When life gives you lemons, it rolls ones for me. Wish i had some lemons....grumble But i've taken a bit of a break and am going back into it, and hopefully get some better results, and if not someone is getting a lot of cards.
