I'm sure you've all had a chance to play with the new market. The current market inflation encouraged me to offer some guidance to those who may not put an adequate amount of thought and effort into determining realistic prices.

First off, a pack of cards generally contains one rare (orange symbol), 3 uncommons (black symbol), and 11 commons (white symbol). Given the nature of the distribution, it is generally accepted that 3 commons = 1 uncommon, and that 3 uncommons = 1 rare. If you got an "odd" card (blue symbol), you're lucky. We'll talk about that later.

Using this generally accepted rarity conversion method, one pack can be thought of as containing 29 commons (11C + (3U*3C)*2). 150 gold divided by 29 cards is roughly 5 gold per common. Thus you can approximate an uncommon at 15 gold, and a rare at 45 gold. Blue "odd" cards are special. There is still some argument as to whether they are more or less rare than the rares are... but to err on the side of caution, let's approximate them at 60 gold.

Now, everyone is aware that some cards have more play value than others. If you apply a bell curve model to each rarity tier you might see pricing ranges like this: Commons 1-15 gold (but 80% within the 3-9 gold range), Uncommons 5-50 gold (but 80% within the 10-22 range), Rares 30-200 gold (but 80% within the 40-90 range). The price variance at each rarity level represents how the rarity and playability of a card might affect the market value.

Furthermore, some cards are more sought after than others. Depending on the demand, you should consider raising or lowering your price as much as 20-30%. Another factor here is how quickly you would like to turn your cards into gold. If there's no rush, put them up at a reasonable market price. If you're a jerk, sure, you can try to max out the price all you want, but don't "expect" anyone to buy from you. If you're desperate to turn some gold around to join upcoming leagues, "consider" undercutting the current market price.

All this said, 50g for a mediocre uncommon and 500 gold for a rare is absurd considering the cost per pack breakdown discussed in this thread. This kind of inflation will grind the flow of exchanges on the market down to nothing.

But then again, it's always more efficient to just trade cards if you can... :-)
