Actually almost all of us who have been around for any length of time have multiple decks.. I'd not say I'm a hardcore player but I have a good eight or so. Also, it seems to get noted every time we get a new wave of players... the default/free decks win tourneys just as easily as constructed ones. There have been a lot of games won by those decks.
This post was made before the every-5-hour-free-tourney-for-gold was around, I'm assuming that was his solution. I've played some of those tourneys with only on e other person entering.. yes, it's essentially [what is it now, 150?] free gold if you just log in and play a battle or two. Which is a lot more than the original system of getting 1 piece of gold each time you win.

I joined a couple months ago I'd guess. raptorus wrote: MistStlkr wrote: the default/free decks win tourneys just as easily as constructed ones and? the structure of a TCG is to have a own! deck not a default deck So use the free default decks to enter free tourneys which pay gold prizes, use the gold to buy cards.. it isn't that difficult of a concept, is it? raptorus wrote: and there wont be a inflation on the market, make the booster more expensive and we dont have this problem I'm sorry, you lost me here. I'm not sure what you are saying... Are you suggesting that if Jed increases the price of a pack of cards the individual cards in the market would be cheaper? If that is what you are saying I don't see how that would work...

Quote: So use the free default decks to enter free tourneys which pay gold prizes, use the gold to buy cards.. it isn't that difficult of a concept, is it? no it isnt, but it is bad, stupid concept. (of course, it is a new concept, i have never see a tournament system in a browser game) Quote: and there wont be a inflation on the market, make the booster more expensive and we dont have this problem sry,... i think there was a "thinking"mistake ok, maybe here is the answer: make this free tournaments more frequently, maybe every 2 hours not only 5. (because you cant really win with free intro something, (my opnion)(normaly, 4 cards in 1 weeks= 10 weeks 40(random) cards) so everybody can join a tournament when he want and we dont have this problem, too--> Quote: this 5-hour-system means that i must customise (or customize?) my life for this game, this is stupid. this remember me on World of Warcraft.......

The more often the free tourneys are the less the prizes can be... so either you get more chances to p[lay or you get a chance to win more. I'd like to keep the prize over 150g so at least the winner gets a free pack. Less than that just seems... almost demoralizing. Kind of like grandpa saying not to spend that nickle all in one place...

MistStlkr wrote: Less than that just seems... almost demoralizing weak argument and it is only our opinion the real fakts are this: If there are more often tournaments, the player can play to win gold every time in the day, BUT they must play the whole day to get much gold. If there are not so often tournaments, the player cant play whenever they like, BUT they can play only some hours per day to get much gold. what is the better way...? for me it is the first one, because i dont want have much gold. i would be happy to have to have a own deck. i play now for 1,5 weeks, my gold is 0. -,- MistStlkr wrote: Kind of like grandpa saying not to spend that nickle all in one place... sry, what do you mean? is it a adage? i couldnt understand it.

Why are you so focused on gold? You can play sealed, drafts, and leagues for free. Gold just lets you you play constructed. Those other formats are also fun just play those if you aren't willing to spend $3 on the game.

Actually how about we make a long league where anytime you win a game in the league you get a new card that you can use in that league. This way you can practice deck building, get rewards from playing etc.
