So examining steam charge I thought it need one change for certain.

I believe it should read
"When steam charge is leaves play deal 3 damage to every figure within range.

1 flux: Sacrifice steam charge."


Besides that some other changes could be interesting. For one if it only effected creatures it would be quite strong defensively.

Anyone else have any ideas?

No, not at all. You should be able to kill an enemy's steam charge without it exploding in your face. Under this change there would be nothing you could do, ever.

nothing ever....

Beside attacking with creatures that would survive
Sylvan - ranged attack, heal with pollen, finish with a sapling
DL - termites, fire beatle, y fiend, catapult
MK - sinkhole, volcano, fissure, negate,
Elemental - tremor, combustion...

and theres more then that....

I guess all that stuff could be nothing at all.

I think you should propose a new building that you can pay to "set the charge on" so when it is destroyed, it explodes like a Putrid Zombie.
