With the current environment of splashing, the Bazaar's special is way too cheap. Any deck with a splash can use it at least 50% of the time, and any deck with a pantheon can use it almost 100% of the time.

A usable card almost every round for 1 flux is way underpriced. It should be 2-3 flux at least. Sure it's random, but every other card draw mechanic has a much, much higher cost.

I agree with you. This flux cost was made before major domain changes and everything was fine. But now it looks too strong.

Seconded. I had it in a draft and used the crap out of it. Went tri-color, so I was using the random card almost every turn that I wanted to, and for super cheap. Admittedly, in the long run, I lost in the last game because I decided it'd be hilarious to use the Bazaar's earthquake, but that's neither here nor there :-)

I want to agree but I just can't. it's a random card. the randomness makes up for the low-low cost. there are so many cards in the game of such varying use that the idea of someone having the right amount of domain, flux, and the AB in play to make it happen is like lightning strike, and shouldn't be ruled against so hastily. I mean, sure, I've played it once and on the first turn happened to buy a Barkskin with my all sylvan deck, but that's the exception, not the rule. That's why we have cards like this, so that every once in a while it's a game changer. Otherwise the AB requires that you have room to draw a card (not technically necessary, but helpful if you plan to, you know, play it), that you have the right domain to play the card offered, and enough of it, and that you then have the flux to cast it.

If you really want to nerf it in an interesting or ingenious way, why don't you just make it like the Colleseum? Make it available to both players all the time.

this will also be much weaker with the next set since there will be 2 new domains.

it should also be noted that the original post was before alabster was changed back to two-domains. so it effectively did get a little better. I still hold that it's too cheap for a card, but not many people use it right now so it's not all that big a deal.

Oooooooooooooooooohhhhh....

<3

I was not yet aware of this... glee!
Granted.. I got astridian bazaar in a draft and used it continuously, spaf's greatbow and barkskin dragon and even a charm in that.

The price should be higher than 1, but not more 3 or so.

Why i dont agree thats its to strong is in TFW card drawing isnt quite the same mechanic as it is in other games. you can only have so many cards and in the early game you almost always have a near full hand. and flux a accumulates slower so its harder to drop many cards. If your decks designed right you want to playing the cards you put in it not random ones.

It really only becomes practical in quick deck and then its a such a random factor.

So imo, if it cost alot to activate it would lose most of its use. further its not game breaking. let be strong. Unless its becomes an auto include for every deck just let it be.
