out of date client message

when I try to log in it says

"Out of date client. Flash is 23379021 but should be 1084132088"
the message is on the top of the screen and somewhat fogged.

I downloaded the game and am clicking on the icon on my desktop to start (A few days ago I could log in but not play) now I cannot login.
a small window appears titled launcher v2.5h and then the main window appears titled
v1.7
Maybe the problem is that I redownloaded the game without uninstalling first?

The current launcher version is v2.6h, try deleting your
c:\program files\the far wilds\helpers\localfile.stat
then rerun the launcher

deleted that file but still insists on v2.5h
