Here is the perfect solution for your problem:

I'd love to see this happen for a few reasons:

1) Wins against the AI are meaningless when it comes to rating.
2) Wins against the AI are mixed with wins against humans, making it a useless statistic.
3) Wins against the AI "devalue" those human wins as they're combined.
4) Wins against the AI make the title associated with wins meaningless.
5) AI inflated win totals can mask how bad a player (like me) really is.

Granted I'm sure it's low on the "to do list", but I'd like to think others feel the same way as I do and maybe enough people chime in, it might rise in priority a teeny bit. (Plus it's always good to document these things so they don't get forgotten.)

the poster will be happy, i will be happy, and will you be happy, too?

Awesome suggestion!! :) :) :)

I like the idea of getting rid of the wins against AI from the total wins number. When it comes to evaluate the skill of a player, AI matches are really worth nothing as soon as one gets decent. It's a pity I would see my rank plummet

I can't see how this relates to the issue of this topic, though. Would this promote the PvP competition? I don't think so but, hey, I don't think it is such a big problem either. On that, i agree with Minds :)

Raptorous mentioned people playing two AI's at once "for profit." Have you ever played against three AI opponents on the same map? it's quite fun, particularly if you make a smaller than average map, but I don't see how you get any more profit out of it. As far as I know you sill only get one phantom card... Maybe I did not understand that as intended...

I believe Raptorous meant 2 separate games of 1v1 with the AI. I was not sure if this was possible so I just opened it up and tried. Although this may be confusing to some, it may be a great way to save time and try out two decks at a time. Now I didn't go finish the games, I just resigned, but I would assume you do get a phantom for each game, so in theory one could play multiple easy games versus the AI to pharm for phantoms.

Now as a new player myself, I do like how phantoms can give me a slight beef to the defaults in constructed, but I am still stuck using the unchanged default in Minor Clash tournaments. I'm okay with all of this, because I get to experiment with new cards that I have not been able to try out yet and the Minor Clash restriction forces me to use the regular default, because my changes to the default were probably for the worse, haha. Also, the phantoms only help a tiny bit, if at all, against more experienced players, as they probably already have real, more reliable, copies (and multiples too) of their cards.

I also agree with everything positive said about the AI games (connection, fast games, try out decks, etc.)

Here's my suggestion to alleviate Raptorous's problem: Keep the phantoms as it is versus AI players. Award two phantoms for a win versus a real person, but one phantom in a loss versus a real person. This would allow for those apparent "phantom pharmers" to come out and play real people instead of the AI if that was the only reason they were playing the AI.

This is a not existing problem. Have you ever tried to play 10 AI matches at the same time? Try and check how long it takes. More than the sum of 10 individual matches, for sure. As the time for AI to make a move is very short you can't really benefit from multiple games. You would against a real player... however, your percentage of won matches would most likely plummet.
