Are there any free sealed or draft tournaments? I would like to practice these before spending any gold on them.

You can set them up in the "create new battle" menu and get others to join in, essentially trading the expense for the work of rounding up the players yourself I guess.

No official reply has been posted or answered to questions about if it was removed on purpose or a bug.

they took it out, which the obv reason is to "force" people to buy gold. Saddens me that they would take this out and "force". Wizards of the Coast did this with their game and it ruined it imo

I'm going to come out and say this was a terrible change that will hurt the game (and the bottom line) more than it will help and I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't acknowledged in a change log.
There are going to be players who can't pay, right now it seems the devs just want to show them the door. This hurts those people who do pay as much as the people who can't because there are less people around to play/chat/trade/etc. Ultimately, the community is diminished when you restrict playing opportunities (and vice versa) so please re-institute free drafts/sealed matches.

They are not gone. They will be back in the next patch. There was a bug with free drafts so I disabled them till we have a chance to fix them.

Any ETA for this patch?
(I have seen the program update itself a couple of times recently but still can't see the option for free sealed/draft tournaments)
