Well you could have started at the other side...
And you have plenty of options to place other buildings as you have a lot of vision from the hell cat.If you didn't have the hellcat or another creature you could put a 2 range building such as Bone Fortress in the hex in the upper right direction from the graveyad and another building(say a a dank pit fx.) next to the fluxwell tile.

But yea that is a lot of water!
