I have had this happen several times. I don't know if there is an effect going on that isn't reporting on the event log, or if there is a bug that is causing them to disappear. I have had this happen with creatures and buildings. They are there one second and gone without a trace the next. I haven't seen a pattern with this and I don't know what triggers it.

Uh, most logical thing that I can think of was that it was probably due to attrition that your cat died. Was it in the middle of the round or when you both passed and a new round started? If the former, it's a bug, unless com used downpour. If the latter, then yeah.. attrition.

Oh, hey, look at that enchantment... didn't see it there. Thanks for the help!
So this leads me to a suggestion. The dialog box should either have a section for all actions, or the option to set the level of detail in the box. There are many times I don't know why something happened.
