So I was waiting like 10 minutes for a sim and I had an idea. There has been obviously some effort for adding game variety to the far wilds with the recent beta version of the wilds. I thought it would be cool to find a mini game for the far wilds that also serves the purpose of advertisement. Its win win.

I dont have many ideas but I remember there being games where you sent a link to people and the game was to get as many people to click on the link as possible. I dont know how they work and I never played them but if we got rewards for say 1, 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 people it might be fun. Like special addition cards or just an emblem next to our name or maybe a small gold reward for each one. It would also be cool if the link automatically set each player as the referee.

For instance, on myspace I play one of their games called mobsters and I have about 200 mobsters on there whch are other players. Ive also played a couple other mmp's so that form of advertisement would be a good way to have the far wild regulars hostily invade other online games. And of course any reward the players get are generaly free to give out so thats great.

Also if a user named thefarwilds_dot_com could get a highscore at adultswim.com that would give the game some small tv advertisment to what is probably the games target audience.

Just please don't make a crappy Facebook game. There are way too damn many of those and I find their pyramid-scheme invitations excruciatingly disgusting.

Im not sure if thats where they come from but face book is a rather popular sight now and I dont get too many of the above described links. I dont think Ive gotten one since high school lol. I dont know why its great word of mouth advertisement that can be payed for without using cash.
