Instead of giving the geographic society full view of the map for both players, let it be a building with like 7 or 8 vision (NOT control). That way it's reduced in power for the controller (no more cheap-ass negates, fissures, etc) but it also doesn't benefit your opponent by letting him get any advantage out of your building either.

I agree with Practice that the entire concept of Astridian Geographic Society should be rethought. If a deck needs to see the board in order to be really good, then there's no real reason to use other options. Scry Pool isn't near as useful, as it doesn't reveal near as much. Yes, it benefits both players, but if one player can already see a decent amount of the board because of the creatures it plays, and the other can see nothing because it been holing up with buildings, one player gets a much larger benefit than the other.
Plus, it completely negates cards like Shroud of Blackness, That Hive, Flash Powder, and Mud Mogi.
