Will Brass remain at 3 packs at start +1 for each new interval, and zwar at 3 packs? If so, isn't this a bit of a problem, since there will be 50% more different domains than before? That means the amount of cards in the pool for any single domain will be cut to about 66% of what it is now. Building playable 2 domain decks becomes much harder without great luck.
I propose simply adding one or two more pack(s) to the pool for both formats.
On a kind of related sidenote, Astridian Bazaar will become a lot worse with the new set, because the possibility to get a useful card is much lower. When playing a 2-domain deck, the probability of it giving a castable card goes from roughly 5/9 to 5/13. The latter estimation is probably wrong, because the ratio of number of unaligned cards to number of cards of any given domain seems to change.
This thread is for discussing these and other practical issues with having two new domains.
Edit: Fixed the the probabilities for Bazaar. Before I had assumed there are as many unaligneds as cards of any domain, but actually there are only about half as much in seed set.

headshot: Excellent point! Another option would be to allow a player to choose ~4 of the 7 domains, and then get all random cards from the domains selected. This would apply for Zwar, Brass, Sealed and any other format that would be SEVERELY hampered because there are more domains than ever. Continued suggestions and opinions welcome. Time to get my Halloween groove on!!! LaterZ all. DarkJello

This would apply for Zwar, Brass, Sealed and any other format that would be SEVERELY hampered because there are more domains than ever. Choosing 4 out of 7 (of which one is unaligned, I assume) would not keep the expected number of cards for any given domain the same, unless I'm mistaken. It would either have to be 4 out of 6 (and unaligned cards would pop up anyway) or 5 out of 7 (unaligned would have to be selected too, if wanted) if the goal was to keep it as much like it is now as possible in terms of deck construction. But for a number of reasons, one of them being there are only half as much unaligneds as any domain's cards, the 4 out of 6 system would be better probably. Even if adding packs would end up as the preferred solution, or nothing would be done at all about the limited formats, the "choose 4 out of 6 domains" solution would fix Bazaar's problems. The probability to get a usable card would remain roughly the same as it is now.

you can play zwar with the new cards now. It just drops a domain at random from each player and gives and extra pack. Seems to be fine.
Bazaar is still a good card I think. We knew the new domains were coming when we made it so left it a bit strong for just the first 4 domains.

I guess it's still ok, because you can choose whether you want to buy the card.

Also, along with some of the previously discussed limited changes (i.e. you can't draw more than 5 of the same card), I would think an extra pack would be fine.
