aaron,
Won't comment on the overall autodraw situation, but the game only let's you get 3 levels in a given domain. So if you have a Graveyard, Altar, and 2 Diplomats both on DL you will still show only 3 DL.

Btw I like the button idea too:)

True - because of autodraw, adding a Grove makes a lot more difference than adding a single normal card does.

It seems like all of these could be solved by adding a checkbox to the army build screen that would allow you to choose which basic buildings would be drawn and have them autodraw only if there are no bases and or playable domain sources left in the deck. The only decks I can think of that would still have issues would be baseless ones and if they left all the basics unchecked, they would just have to deal with the possibility of running out.

The current out-of-deck autodraw mechanic solved the problem people had with domain denial, but introduced a new issue: spammable basic buildings. If I recall correctly, the intention was just to make sure normal decks never completely run out of domains & bases. Limited format is now basically a game of who grabs wells first. Any defense is only needed if the opponent can destroy more than 1 building every turn.

I think the out-of-deck basic buildings should not provide control. They should reveal hexes within 1 to let you cast things, but not give control nor prevent casting insta-completing buildings. (I guess this would require an exception to be made both in the check whether a player has any vision 1+ buildings in play and in counting controlled areas. Another option would be to make the out-of-deck buildings have 0 vision and an effect like Woodland Spies.)
