Is there a point to this card that I'm not seeing? The only use I've found is using it to block a narrow [one-space-wide] pass with a Shield Wall wearing an Amulet of Shielding hiding behind it. Seems like it should be more like a crushing wheel, unless I'm missing something.

That's it. There are other cards similar to it as well (some kind of undead blob). The point is to occupy space which will take your opponent a while to kill. Use it at a choke point between water or tough-to-pass mountains. Or to sit on someone's seedling to keep it from growing, or on a corpse to keep it from animating. Or a rift to keep thing from teleporting. Or keep him in an arena to gain glory. Or or or. There are dozens of uses.

Wait... A creature sitting on a flux well counts as controlling it?? How else could the boulder gain glory?

Well, that Undead blob thing is similiar, but at least with fear (or was it armor?) and the ability to spawn other blobs, it is better at holding ground. Still, the boulder is not a thing I'd use - unless I draw four of them and four blunderbusses

Whoever owns the creature that is sitting in the arena at the end of the turn gets a certain amount of glory. Since killing this thing takes a good long while, he's better to have sit in that arena than say a hellcat. Anyone know what the arena is actually called? I've only had it played against me once.

Sigvatr's Arena XX4 Enchant Space On new round controller of creature on the Arena gains a glory.
: Move a Creature you control to space adjacent to Arena. (Any player can use if they don't have a Creature adjacent to the Arena)

i like bolder with loathing and fear, here you must attack it, but you cant get close, it basicly makes an entire region combat free for your guys. A bit of a set up though 3 cards, but really nasty effect
