After playing around with People's Champion(The Card on TFW), MTG(The Famously Awesome Card Game), and a Flash game called Leon Wars, I got this idea: having heroes.

Well, what is a Hero?

Heroes are unique types of units with their own distinct abilities. For example, some can create units at the cost of flux, while others can use 2 or more abilities. Only one Hero can exist on either player's field (it's like you put yourself on the board.). Also, it it's possible, I'd like to replace the generic names with the name of the user himself/herself, to make it more realistic.

EDIT: Heroes cannot switch control. Costs have been added and some heroes had stat changes.

Possible Ideas (and ideas for some support cards):
Death General Katorz
4 Flux
2 DL, 2 Unaligned
Creature Hero
3 / 5 / 4 / 4 / 1
Fear (2)
(3 Flux) Figure up to 2 hexes away takes 2 damage.
(3 Flux, Dims Creature) Create an adjacent Haunt.
(9 Flux, Dims Creature) Gain 1 Glory.
Where ultimate power awaits, so does the downfall of many unable to wield it.

(2 Flux) Once per turn, Figure adjadcent to Hika takes 2 damage.
(4 Flux, Dims Creature) All creatures take 1 damage.
(7 Flux) Heal Hika to max health.

The Honorable Swordsman
4 Flux
4 Unaligned
Creature Hero
4 / 6/6 / 5 / 4 / 0
Armor (1)
Creatures adjacent to Swordsman can only deal 1 damage max to Swordsman.
(3 Flux) Move Swordsman adjacent to the enemy Creature with the highest health.
(5 Flux) Select one creauture your opponent controls that has health less than it's max health. Swordsman and creature both heal to max health.

Hell Demon Rigarden

Creature Hero Demon Hover

Fear (1) Aloft
(3 Flux, Dims Creature) Give Rigarden 3 sleep tokens. Other creature you control gains 5 random positive and 5 random negative stat tokens.
(5 Flux) Once Per turn,Creature of your choice gains two stat tokens of your choice.
(5 Flux) Turn any hex into swamp.

(3 Flux) Add one Hero card from your deck to your hand.
(5 Flux,Dims) Target Hero that came into play this round adjacent to Hero's Guild gains Fear(1)
(5 Flux,Dims) Target Hero that came into play this round adjacent to Hero's Guild gains an Attack or Max Health Token.
(5 Flux,Dims) Target Hero that came into play this round adjacent to Hero's Guild gains Armor(1)
Every hero has as least once visited, fought, or bartered in this legendary guild. The owner never forgets the face of any who appear, no matter how many.

The High Priestess

At the start of round, all creature you control adjacent to Priestess heal 1 health.
(3 Flux, Dims) Target Hero gains 3 Speed until end of round.
(2 Flux, Dims) Target Hero gains 1 Strength until end of round.
(3 Flux, Dims) target Hero and 1 random creature your opponent controls are enchanted with Coruse of Destiny.
This priestess has inbound the path of destiny for many a hero. Her wisdom is not to be taken lightly.

(3 Flux) Once Per Turn, Blademaster gains 3 Speed.

(2 Flux) Once per turn, Enchant Target Creature with Creeping Gloom.
(2 Flux) Once per turn, Enchant Target Creature with Vow of Peace.
(5 Flux) Once Per turn, Target Entity is destroyed.
(5 Flux) Once Per turn, Target Ruin or Entity is morphed back into what it was with half it's health (round up).
Having mastered the elements of Light and Dark, she is a force to be reckoned with.

If Rux'Thal attacks a Figure that is destroyed this round, it's owner loses 1 Glory. You lose 1 Glory at the start of a round.
(4 Flux, Dims) Gain 1 Glory.
(2 Flux) Once Per turn, Rux'Thal gains 2 range.

I think being able change the name of certain cards is the single greatest idea I have ever seen in the card ideas forum. Not being dramatic either. That would totally kick ass.

I back that idea up %1050. Just make sure there is a few common worthy & unaligned (but strong) heros so everyone can enjoy them, not just those with bank accounts & cradit cards. I would suggest 3 unaligned common heros.

For rarities, I'll leave that up to jed when the time comes. I'd also like to add heros in the campaign to represent the player and other major NPC'S. As for having everyone able to use them, I'd put a common UA Hero card in with the batch of starter cards you get (it's also a phantom "starter", so it won't expire but you can't trade/sell them either)

In the meantime, since the public spoke...

(2 Flux,Dims) Once per turn, add a Bindweed Poultuce to your hand.
(1 Flux) Lower Arrower's vision by 1 and increase range by 1.

Immune to Fear.
(Dims) A creature that costs 1 Flux or less and has less than 3 health is placed in a random space that is at least 2 spaces away from your opponent's area of control.
(0 Flux) Once per turn, a random enchant or spell that costs 0 is added to your hand.

Controlling time requires a great degree of skill. Those who master it are either terrifying enemies... or your best friends/

(2 Flux) Destroy Target Enchantment.
(5 Flux) Once per turn, add an anti spell counter. If an uncanceled spell is cast and Celador Disspeller has and anti spell counter, negate the spell and remove the counter.
(3 Flux, Dims) Create a Null Stone on target space.
This title is given to those who have trained with the elves in the art of destroying magic. They are just as feared as those who create the magic.

I did not read many of the specifics, but I really like the idea of a "hero" or "avatar" on the battlefield! Very groovy and cool. 8-) My energy level for thinking up new ideas is mucho very low, but I like the direction you are headed.

Arigato Jello! I'm sure this idea will make it into TFW if I try hard.

In my opinion, having a lot of heroes gives more flexibility to adding them into decks, yet the limit of having only one on the field at a time forces people to think carefully about what heroes they want to include and play. And of course, it's always kind of cool to see yourself doing stuff on the field instead of playing God like:

[Zblader]: Zblader attacking noob_mexican

Note: no noob_mexicans were harmed or offended in the making of the above phrase.

(1 Flux) Lower Solis's attack by 1 and increase his speed and range by 1. Any values altered by thsi ability reset back to normal during the end of the round (Oher enchants like Icy Encasement still affect him though).
(4 Flux) Once per turn, Undim Solis.
You will disappear in the twinkle of an eye. Why? How? Where? Well, you don't want to know any of that.
