Flux Counting

Flux counting is the search for synergy in cards based almost entirely off their flux cost regardless of any other synergy or strength.

This is most important early when flux is limited. Good examples are found all over but Sylvan/Elemental has one of the best examples of gaining early field control. Look below at the turns, flux costs, and total flux.

Turn 1: 10 flux -- Grove (7 flux)+ Tinderfoot Archer (1 flux) -- 2 flux left Turn 2: 2 + 3 = 5 flux -- Bamboo Watchter -- 2 flux left Turn 3: 2 + 3 = 5 flux -- Vapor Mahal -- 0 FLUX LEFT
