DL was already punished after Altar of Ix was nerfed. I like the rude necromancer idea though.

Well, just play with Silver Stagg..

CBD: Altar didn't need to dim, thus was able to use the ability instantly and more times per turn.
(And yea, AMS makes no differences between enemy's cards and your ones.)

I Are smart Zurken! :D Thanks for reminding me.

@cereal:
I think you're missing the point here. AMS may be an advantage to you, but that's normally if your opponent has casted it on your stuff, or he uses lots of enchants and spells. Playing against CI, I really haven't seen many CI players that use AMS on my stuff unless it negates something like Death Mark or Iron Gate. Normally, they will use the AMS on their Paladins, which make them near indestructible because of Fear and Armor. That is very effective, but don't you think nuliffying at least 3 spells/enchants is a bit much?

Since the talks about AMS so much, I'm going to put in a little card suggestion I made a while ago.

Celador Disspeller
4 Flux
3 UA
Creature Hero
3 5/5 3 3 2
(2 Flux) Destroy Target Enchantment.
(5 Flux) Once per turn, add an anti spell counter. If an uncanceled spell is cast and Celador Disspeller has and anti spell counter, negate the spell and remove the counter.
(3 Flux, Dims) Create a Null Stone on target space.
This title is given to those who have trained with the elves in the art of destroying magic. They are just as feared as those who create the magic.

Ok so let me get this straight. There's a ridiculous hardhitter with armor and fear running around and the opponent can still somehow afford 2 flux... So you wanna nerf the antimagic shell? I say adding a new game mechanic for certain long range unit is all you need.

Rat rifle upgraded. Has piercing. Can't be prevented by armor

mmmm... Z ...
Let me see if I understand this. We have an enchantment card, Anti Magic Shell, which you deem overpowered. It provides considerable magical protection for whatever figure it is cast upon, but is vulnerable to being disenchanted.
Instead of deciding to utilize any of the already myriad anti-enchantment methods which already exist in the game, you instead propose a powerful 3/5 creature which can destroy an unlimited number of enchantments, create an effect similar to a Dew Mogi (very expensive rare card) once per turn, and create a Null Stone (also a rare card) once per turn.

Doctor, Doctor, I think the cure is worse than the disease!!

Ok, ok, I give! :( But wouldn't disenchant (and any other card made to stop enchants) only take 1 counter off? That's why I had that idea in the first place, because you'd have to use the ability 3 times (aka 6 flux). Silver Stagg may seem promising, but keep in mind the most common target for AMS is Paladin of Xosa!

Also, here's a nerfed version... is this better?

Celador Disspeller
7 Flux
3 UA
Creature Hero
2 5/5 3 3 2
(3 Flux,Dim) Destroy Target Enchantment.
(6 Flux) Once per turn, add an anti spell counter and discard 1 card. If an uncanceled spell is cast and Celador Disspeller has and anti spell counter, negate the spell and remove the counter.
(3 Flux, Dims) Create a Null Stone on target space. Give Dispeller 2 sleep tokens.
This title is given to those who have trained with the elves in the art of destroying magic. They are just as feared as those who create the magic.

Pretty sure I'm right here... Can the community let us know?
AMS protects the figure it is cast on, but it does not protext itself.
For example, you can cast 3 spells or enchantments on the figure to make AMS go away by losing it's tokens. You can also simply disenchant AMS. You are not targeting the figure upon which AMS is cast; you are targeting AMS itself.

Wow. I sure am smart. *facepalm*

Sorry for being an idiot. But in that case, wouldn't you say that AMS is just..... really strong instead of OP? It has a lot of counters, a useful role in any CI deck, and pretty much is the disenchant of CI.

Yeah, I would say that. It is a very powerful card, but I do not think it overpowered.

It also fails with Course of Destiny, Tentacles and Draknor's Chain...
