Pine ent is a little overpowered. It's 2/3, and heal 1. It costs the same as a Medium of the 3rd Circle, but has greater endurance. It needs to lose a HP (pine is a soft wood after all).

It's 2/3 now? I thought it was 2/4... >.>

Regardless, I have yet to dominate a game with this guy... he always seems to get killed shortly after I cast him. I only play with one though... maybe things would be different if I had three. :-D

I think the HEAL ability intimidates a lot of people so they want it off the board ASAP... It's a huge kick-me sign in a lot of peoples minds.

I had one camping outside my base when I was overun. Kept killing my low-end creatures, and healing the damage I did to it. I was also screwd by the map there, but it should lose a HP considering that it heals.

Also, it is 2/4- I was going to suggest making it 2/3

I would tend to agree that it's underpriced/overpowered, either one fewer hp or one more flux cost would seem appropriate.

And they tend not to last long because they're such a huge threat...

Guys just compare it eith cricket.
For example I have only naturalist in my sylvan deck, who have more than 2 damage )

I do compare it against the cricket, which costs 5 flux, must be cast at a base, and doesn't have foreststride. 2 damage is the same, 2 hp/2 armor is roughly equivalent to 4 hp/1 heal.

My comment of one less hp or one more flux seems pretty valid when doing your comparison.

To kill ent - 1 unit with 4 damage (or spell)
cricket - 1 unit with 4 damage. It's ok. :)
unit with 3 damage kills ent and cricket in 2 turns.
Unit with 2 damage kills ent in 3 turns and CAN'T kill cricket.
And if you kicking Pine ent with several weak creatures 1 heal is almost nothing.
Usually heal is same as +1( or +2) max HP.

you're proving my point again. we're talking about equal footing here, a creature with 2 attack would not be able to kill a pine ent either. With one exception (mana lion), all 2 attack creatures have 5 or less hp (most have 4 or less) and would lose to a pine ent 1 v 1.

As for 1 attack creatures, they don't have a prayer against a pine ent. Even two wouldn't be able to take down a pine ent. You'd need three creatures to take one down.

This is also ignoring how much easier it is to kill a cricket with spells, enchantments, and special abilities.

I still maintain that a pine ent is much better than a cricket on a flux-cost basis.
