Ok I added another test up there. It is of this: - Same as current system except... - Any basic domain building you include in your deck is added to a list of External Cards. - You can only draw cards from outside your deck from this list of External Cards
So if you have a deck that uses no bases autodraw will never give you one.
If you have a deck that uses groves and alter of ix and no Graveyards, autodraw will only pull extra groves from outside your deck not Graveyards.
Is there still some issue with this system?

huge one what if the other one destroys me all my Altars? How can I get the DL domain then? What if I use only Bone Fortresses and Mahals - it's easy to get rid of Fortresses, and let say, Mahals will get Negated + Fissured (or kicked out with Astridian Forum) - say good bye to the game...

Zurken: I'm not sure those are valid arguments. you could also ask what if I only put 1/1 guys in my deck and then he plays a big creature? Seems like these problems are just maters of deck construction.

It makes domain denial decks strong again - as really good one (Sink Holes, Negates, Fissures, Tremors and Puddle should do) will get rid of those 2 or 3 buildings thus making something like 1/2 of your deck unplayable as you don't have domain for it.
You can add some strong guys into your deck to fight his strong guys, but you can only add Dew Mogis into deck to fight his spells - that makes it valid argument I think.

Is there still some issue with this system? I REALLY LIKE THIS IDEA... It's what I suggested forever ago.. How does it make domain denial strong again? Back in the good 'ole days, if you had 2 groves and 3 altars, and they were all destroyed, then you were screwed. In this new system, you will keep getting groves, no matter how many times they are destroyed. If you are worried about not being able to keep 3 altars alive, then add one graveyard to your deck, and you'll never ever run out of graveyards to play. With fissure being nerfed, it shouldn't be too much or a problem. This new way allows for you to really customize your decks, not draw bases you don't ever want to draw, and is really intuitive. The other option would be this: When you make a deck, you attach an Autodraw list to your deck, which is a checkbox of which BASIC buildings you want in autodraw for that deck. The autodraw will only draw from the Autodraw list and ONLY when you are out of domain sources in your deck

This was a suggestion in the suggestion forum. I've merged it into this thread as this thread is ALL THINGS autodraw... cylone wrote:

I updated the list on the first page and added category #5 for the suggestions with the current autodraw but limited to cards included in the deck or selected from a checklist. (Maybe that should have been #2b, but with multiple variants seems to deserve a top level.)
I currently favor either #4 or #5b. 5b is basically what we have now, but only autodraw additional basic buildings you have selected from a list during deck construction. Having autodraw more visible during deck construction could help new players become aware of it better and that solution seems to resolve every issue I've seen someone come up with, except Salvage related ones and we can deal with Salvage separately.
The large pictured suggestion appears to be a variant of category #3 with a salvage penalty added and the option to swap your home building for any fated card on your first turn. Like most #3 suggestions it seems to make things more complicated.
Whatever solution we come up with should be as simple as possible. The units can make the game complex while something like this should operate in the background.

Looks like there's been a recent change (some cards have "fated" on them). Can anyone point to the official writeup (or if none exists, explain the change)?

The fated was just for that autodraw test. There hasn't been much feedback about the test 2 but I think I'm going to make that the autodraw method.
