Hello people!

Starting tomorrow (31 July) we are happy to introduce The Platypus Rising Daily 4-man Tournament

[EDIT] The tournament will now be held on weekdays only!

Format: 4 man, single elimination
Entry Fee: None
Prices: 1st place 10g, 2nd place 5g
Rating Cap: 1400
Time: Minor Clash Times = 20 Game Minutes and 60 Turn Seconds
Decks: Minor Clash rules. Either default deck or decks where you own all cards (i.e., no decks with mixed phantoms and cards you own)
Schedule: The tournament will be held on a daily basis but the actual time will probably vary from day to day (this is because we can't guarantee that we have members on to run the tournament on a set time every day).

Two spots will be reserved for guild members in Platypus Rising, the other two spots are open on a first come, first serve basis.

The names of the top two players will be published daily in this post.

All rules are subject to change. If all goes well, we might expand it to an 8-man tournament. Also, we might change the amount of gold you get for getting 1st and 2nd. We also hope that players will not use alternative accounts to enter this tournament. It is meant to be friendly and fun and not all that competitive.

Why do we do this? Because we are Unleashing the Platypus Within! (and that's what you do when you do that...)

In the future, Platypus Rising will most likely hold an event during the weekend as well. Updates and news about this event will be announced in due time.

Taking some time off from the tournament for now. Maybe it will be back when there are more guild related aspects implemented in the game.
