Well, now that the Saints won, I'm putting up this page for football fanatics who want to discuss the game. Feel free to take either side.

You know how frustrating it is to have Tivo'd the game and come across this 1/2 way thru the 4th quarter? I mean I didn't click on it till I'd finished watching, but still...
Thanks Zblader for not putting the spoiler in the title.

Thanks Zblader for not putting the spoiler in the title. You're welcome. Okay, before anyone has a chance to veer into the commercials, what part of the game do you think was the crazyzest, most exicting or, somethignest? (Since I am neutral when it comes to these two teams, I am NOT going state any specific plays, but there were some facepalm moments and some awesome moments.)

Manning didn't seem like his head was in the game. From the 2nd period on whenever I saw him sitting on the sidelines or whatever it looked like he was losing the game even when he was ahead.

The commercials were disappointing compared to previous years.

If I've learned anything from my years of watching TV, that could only mean one thing. He got tied up with the mob (most likely gambling debts), and they are threatening his family if he doesn't throw the game. But by the time he had his character changing epiphany where he decides that he's going to not throw the game, they were already down by too much. Most likely as a result of the Saints kicker being threatened by a rival mob to make every kick or they will cut off his toes.
