Another thing that might help is allowing players to play as many tie breakers as they like.

That would enable cheating :(

Cave no matter how long would I have to wait to get my free win I'd just leave the que the moment I would see you on (given I am the dodger) - or as was said, just wait till you have all your games played, then I could wait there, gaining my minutes even when you are on ;P

@my idea; someone already said it, but of course, the points would only be calculated at the end of domain based on the total number of wins & loses (playing someone who was 5 wins and 5 losses would therefore be more rewarding than playing a player with 1 loss & 1 win).
This really sounds like a system keeping the freedom you have in domain while dealing with the picky players.
(Because I know CT is likely to have 80%+ win ratio, so even losing to him is more rewarding than winning against a player who lost all his games but one or two (+ more fun ;P)....the exact numbers would have to be thought through very carefully, but here & now it's the idea what counts)

I don't like forcing matches .. domain is for up to 60 players .. say - you have 60 players there, and you only get to play 20+8 games - you are once again facing the odds of having a better or worse draw of opponents than someone else .. created by the system itself

If I'm reading this correctly, you are suggesting that domain shouldn't limit 5 games per player per interval with 2 max against any one player, but should be unlimited, basing the results off a formula of your win/loss percentage combined with the win/loss percentages of those that you beat and those you lost too?

I think I like this idea. It would mean that a player who played 20 matches and lost 15 of them would be behind a player that played 5 matches and won 4 of them *assuming their opponents were of similar skill levels)

Such a system could work, but it --should-- force x games during the entire domain, i.e. you can't just play 1 match and win it and not play any more to keep your 100% win/loss ratio.

I realize that this is true, but at least I would get to play all my games this way, and it might be that u dont manage to quit the queue fast enough. Anyway it wont hurt any if it dont work so I still think it is worth trying out.

Keyser I believe I wrote that points would be counted on W:L ratio of your opponents AND number of games played..
but I think it should still keep some limit of maximum games against one opponent..

Cave that system i am trying to explain here would get you your games played as well, because even a loss to you would be worth more than winning against a newbie - and there still is the chance to win, which would bring the player tons of points .. I still feel like your proposal would only bring more of hide & seek into domains instead of willingness to face everyone alike..

Let's talk numbers, shall we?

Player's Quality = (Wins*3+Losses*1)*(Number of games played in %/100)*(% of games won/100)

For every win against given player you will be awarded his PQ points, for every loss to a given player you will be awarded PQ/2(3?) points.

I just need some mathematician to tell me if this can work ..

Further Pros & Cons:

> While the domain is running only Wins and Losses are displayed, thus noone can tell who is actually winning.
>At the end of domain PQ and total score would be displayed along with the Wins and Losses
>This system is very newbie unfriendly as it handicaps those who would play games against someone who didn't play all the games greatly. New players we have seen in domains from time to time usually dropped after few games. This could be solved by adding a limit of won games required to enter domain? Or we can just adjust numbers to decrease the importance of % of games played..

(Cave I was just using you as an example ;P)
