Is this a bug?
I have 2 mf domain and bilgrims first prototype and flame ent in my hand, the next card i draw is a dwarven hall, the card i draw after that is a vapor mahal. Although the dwarven hall allowed me to play the prototype any domain card would have done that and i was stuck without the domain to play another card in my hand.

I believe the description in the first post is out of date. My understanding of how autodraw works at the moment is that if you either have no domain giving card in your hand or no base on the board and no base in your hand, then you will draw the first playable card in your deck that can help satisfy whichever condition is being violated. It no longer preferentially feeds you one of the appropriate tech.

Where it *does* still feed you an appropriate card is in your opening hand. The autodraw for your hand seems to use the rule that if you draw a card that requires a domain for which you do not have a domain giving card, then the next card you draw will give that domain. This is why you almost always start with one domain card of each type if you have a two domain deck with a significant number of cards from each domain.

Actually it does preferentially feed you the appropriate domain in most cases (try discarding a missing domain (when you have the other one) in a two color deck and you'll always redraw it), however my post above is one situation where the autodraw doesnt give the right domain. Another strange (buggy? )aspect of autodraw/vapor mahal is that its possible to draw a vapor mahal that died the previous turn however its still counted as giving elemental domain for the purposes of determining which domain card to draw into.

Hmm, maybe my belief about the second domain is based on the fact that I always use vapors for the second domain.

Case one:

Let's say you have no buildings in play (your opponent just killed your last one). You have no domain cards in hand (because he killed the one you just put in play this turn). You have two cards requiring DL and one card requiring MF.

Will you draw a DL domain, an MF domain, or is it random?

Case two:
You have a DL domain in play and one DL domain in hand. You have 1 DL card and 1 MF card in hand. Will you draw an MF domain?
