in the round cathil is cast, mystic feedback costs zero flux. it increases by one every for five rounds. I'm not debating that this is the behavior described by the cards; however, is this really the desired behavior? I think mystic feedback on vessel should always cost five flux.

The card is behaving the way salvage works... Salvage states that "Entity starts with Flux tokens equal to its Flux cost. Entity loses a Flux token at the start of every round. If Entity is removed from game, destroyed, or returned to hand, the caster gains 1 Flux for each Flux token left on Entity. (The casting cost of Entities in play is reduced by 1 for every Flux token)"

I think it makes sense because of the fact that you get the flux back.

again, I am not arguing that the wording is inconsistent with the gameplay (e.g., see Turmoil). I am suggesting that this is unbalanced -- it makes mystic feedback much stronger than, say, disenchant (due to the damage applied).

I am assuming this behavior also applies to weather vane.

Mystic requires 3 domain to play. It should be stronger than Disenchant.

played on the round Vessel was casted, yes, it's stronger than other disenchants.
But you have to consider this when you're using an enchantment as a domain provider - and either don't use it or use it when it's safe.
PS I love casting Feedback on Weather Vane on bit damaged base .. 2 domains and base out 8)
