I want to give this card a completely new ability/name. but I haven't thought of anything that goes good with the art. If you have a good idea post it here...

Mysterious Civilization
2xUA - 5 flux
Armor (2)
0 - 10 - 0 - 1 - 0

At the start of each round, a Dimwitted Manticore is spawned on a random valid space.

Spawn on uncontrolled flux well.

Instant 3vs3 FFA game. Another version of the Desolation Totem that might hurt the caster more than his opponent. It might also destroy itself by spawning a Manticore beside itself, but that's ok... these guys are really mysterious. I was initially thinking that it would spawn Mysterious Cubes in random spots, but that would rarely make an impact on games.

P.S. It would be cool if the guy who initiated the final version chosen gets 3 copies of the card free :D

Rise of a New Faction

Create an AI player on the center flux well (or any unoccupied flux well if there are any others left). The ai player has a random basic building and it's deck has some sort of weak contstruction (like Mis-scribed circle, Pilgrim, Pastor of Wrens, Soliders, etc..., basically weak cards).

Place a campaign-only entity that you've used ingame on the field in an appropriate spawning location, where X is it's flux cost and y is it's domain requirement. You must also pay any additional costs.

Very glad this card is getting changed....awesome jed.... i will submit an idea later when i come up with a worthy one but out of the ones i read so far i like "Brigding Trinity" and "Dominance"

Dominance would be good for obvious reasons.....but it may need a bit of tweaking....it could be very op. Making it would have to be handled with care.....we wouldnt wanna make disenchant a null card. or make it a necesary card in order to counter dominance.

Also i think Brigding trinity is what power alteration should be like....it would make 3 domain decks much more playable altho jed said he wanted a completely new ability so im not sure this is what hes looking for....but i will say its a cool idea....may need tweaking also.

It seems to me that the flux and domain cost of power alteration should be left the same so as not to punish people who got one with the understanding of it being a neutral one domain card. In keeping with that (and making it easy for Jed to recode it)...

Ancient Technology


World Enchantment
Every player gets one neutral domain.


It's basically a trade routes but not for a particular domain, so unlike trade routes it is more likely to benefit all opponents. That said, the main meta-game benefit I would see for this card is that it is a counter to the one domain decks that are becoming more prevalent. I run quite a few myself to stay competitive, but it severely limits the diversity of decks when over half the cards (two and three domain) are ignored. This is by no means a hard counter, but it would provide a slight benefit to some decks that are going toward more domain.

Finally, no matter which new card is chosen for power alteration I would suggest that Jed give a free copy of it to the winner. Seems like a good motivation for suggestions and adds some excitement to seeing which is chosen.

What about keeping the same name, but having it change the domain of ANY figure (not just yours). It would be a really useable card if you could alter the domain of your opponent's building...

Sure, If by "really usable" you mean stupidly good. Everyone would play 3 and it would just be a contest for who jacks up their opponents domain first. I very much do not like this suggestion.
