This card, single-handedly (or, single-cardedly, to be precise) nullifies enchantments.

Do you want to build a claimed with blood deck? A loyal wilds deck? A deck that uses training? A deck that works with erg geyser and essene conduit? An overclock deck?

You can make a successful deck with these, but you come up against a CI deck running Revenant Bishop (and what self-respecting CI deck wouldn't run Rev Bish?) and it's game over.

Once your opponent draws a Rev Bish, you can't effectively play an enchantment for the rest of the game.

If you want to add enchantment control to your deck, just splash CI for Rev Bish.

This card really needs a nerf. It makes playing enchantments pointless.

I completely agree. Maybe the bishop should get shuffled back into deck when enchantment is played? It is wayyyyy too good.

Revenant Bishop is way overrated. If the opponent plays it any enchantment you have can get rid of it and if that enchantment costs less than 4 its giving you a flux advantage and clogging your opponents draws. Many enchantments like possession, training, erg geyser are the most effective the turn that they are played anyway. The enchantment isn't permanently lost anyway, i have many times where i redrew the enchantment that got shuffled away. CI has other good options for killing like missionary martyr and anti magic shell.

However, Rev Bish makes it almost silly to make a deck with Loyal Wilds, for example. I've tried. I've made a deck that is quite good against any deck but one that runs Rev B. When Rev B comes out, I might as well resign.

As you said, CI has other good options for enchantment removal, all of which make it even harder to play enchantment decks. It seems that CI is OP in terms of Enchantment Removal.

Keyser: just run some seedlings and you get a 4 flux advantage every time he plays it.

Even running seedlings means that he can always kill the Loyal Wilds every other turn. The problem is that I won't draw it every other turn.

I have to have a seedling in hand to play when he casts Rev B. It goes to the top of his library, so he can cast it next turn.

I agree with everything keyser have said. Even if Bishop isnt great against all enchantments like seedling, it crushes loyal wild decks. When that is said, Im not sure I want it to get nerfed, since it is one of very few cards that can deal with very boring cards like overclock (protected by Gilded Organ), Benefits, etc. If it is to get nerfed, I to think shuffeling it in to owners deck seems like a good idea.

Shuffling and/or making it cost 5 or 6 seems to be good.

Once upon a time lots of people thought creeping gloom was overpowered, since then the number of weenie decks has gone down and it's no longer worth running for me. I think the anti enchantment cards could go down the same path if decks that heavily rely on enchantments go out of favor.

I can't wait for Bishop to get nerfed, then see all the enchantment-heavy decks take over TFW, so people have something new to complain about.
