Last few days to get your opinions in about the Borderlands cards. Which still seem too strong or too weak?

I feel that Greck /Greck Egg is too weak after the nerfs. I'd like to at least see the Greck get 4 vision back again.

I think spatial disjunction should have a CCX in its casting cost. just so the combo with Dragakanors Fortress is not too easy to pull off.

Speaking of combos --> Is the change to Caravan of Dreams happening?

Also --> When Borderlands is released, will all Bear Strength cards be converted to Lycanthropy, Bear?

Another also --> Will other Lycanthropy cards be coming out in future expansions?

An extra also --> Speaking of L.Bear, I wonder if it could be made slightly stronger (attack of 3 perhaps?), as I haven't seen anyone actually use it yet.

Psychotic Break is broken. Unfair in sealed. Remove it completely. Or at least make it rare.

All discarding cards are too weak. (Drunken Mortar Team, enchantment removal in Chaos)

Valkyre did never see a play. 4 is too much to give. The same is for the Crusader which gives a creature to opponent.

Something is needed to take sleep tokens away. Maybe a building or a creature with a 1 + DIM ability.

Hmm... something like...

Battalion/Imperial Marching Band
Creature: (Imperium) Muscians
Cost: I2
Stats: Atk 0 Hlth 2 Vis 2 Spd 3 Rng 0
Abilities: Dim and pay flux equal to target adjacent creature's domain level: Remove all sleep tokens.
Dim and pay 1 flux: 50% chance to undim target adjacent creature

Even marching to certain death, they always play with Gusto.

?

To me it seems like actually a good balancing factor for limited. A frequent problem I find is my opponent pulled a big creature that I have no solution for and I didn't get lucky with a similar card.

GOOD BALANCING???
You play a Stone Mauler (or anything else, not so powerful, but good) and suddenly it got Breaked in the same turn. Then YOU have to deal with your own creature that will destroy something (hopefully not 2-3 buildings with the opponent's help) in your territory until you find a solution for it.
And that for only 2 flux. That is CHEATING, not balance....

In first 2 beta leagues I made over 800 gold profit. I played 3 Breaks in every Army. In the long Beta league I played fun and unusual armies, experimented with everything, and did not make any profit. I am not better nor worse player than I was before. But the cheating power of Psychotic Break allowed me to get higher rank in first leagues than I deserved by my playing power.

If you are playing against DL and they have 2 flux and 3 domain, you know to beware of possession. It's the same with Chaos now. If they have 3 domain and 3 flux, beware of Break. But it's not impossible to deal with... You can remove the enchantment or make it backfire on your opponent by teleportation. I don't think it's over powered after the nerf

I wish I'd been involved in the Beta as there are a lot of things that seem to me to still be a bit off balance.

It seems Chaos can spawn on the edge of the map by someone's base once they have seen it even if they don't have a unit that can see the space currently? If so and not a bug, that seems an overpowered ability.

Psychotic Break is closer to the power of Charm than that of Possesion. It also seems that Chaos gets to 3 domains faster than even MF somehow, maybe because they can do it casting creatures/enchants that are probably only 2-3 flux over what they would be worth without the domain ability.

Even for Chaos, Twisted Nomad is a bit too random. One time he comes down with 0 range and 0 speed, another time as a 3 damage, 4 range game winner. If his range was always 0, speed always 1+, damage always 1+, vision always 1+, that would still leave a lot of randomness without him being such a lottery ticket.

Rebellious Serfs at 2/3 eat buildings a bit too quickly for their cost/domain level and the ability to spawn right at the base. I'd suggest 1/3, 2/1...maybe 2/2 or 1/4.
