I have seen alot of decks using the sylvan with loyal winds to to obtain control of the forests but not much of gaining control of ocean
Has anyone tried building a strong water deck with elemental. I have been trying to build one. With the intent of using Chambered reef with multiple flash floods. Allowing you to gain quick glory and quick flux while your opponet is stuck waiting. Also i added multiple Reroute so you can move the flux wells during flash flood closer to your main area and away from the opponet. Has anyone else tried this. Other main cards are wondering whirl and water weird, flash flood, and inundation. The thought almost seems unfare being able to move flux wells so easily closer to you and gaining glory. i have only used it against the AI though and everything seems easy against them so hard to tell. I just need to aquire more aloft and water creatures i think to make it a strong deck.
The deck requires an abundent of spells. So benefits of spectacle could really get you to 20 glory in a hurry.
Has anybody else tried building a strong deck like this.. and how well did it work for you. It seems kind of fun moving things around and changing the terrain.

I've seen a few... Dublone and Uraxor have made different types of water decks.

It is fun! I use Land of Dreams and Inundation to make even more water, permanent. Have been toying with Reroute as well, but I can't really justify having to go to 3 domain. Benefits of Spectacle is nice, but ultimately I found that it mostly made me win games faster I would have won anyway.
The tricky thing is defending consistently vs rush and control decks, and getting the water combos going on the dry maps. Vision is often a problem.

water decks have been around a while basset. They are pretty "cheap" ....really doesnt take alot of skill to win with one. its mostly luck really as when u draw what cards. While dublone is most known player to play these type of decks lately i recall "Far" being one of the first players i seen using this alot
they are ok to play and good for new players....i dont really like leet water decks tho... since they are pretty much cheap wins. flash flood flash flood flash flood gg.

They don't take skill to win with? What planet are you typing from? I played Greck/Blizzard/Ocean deck for a while, winning lots of ECs with it, and stopping it because I was bored of playing the same deck over and over and over again. It was never easy to win with. Beating Altren is never an easy thing to do. No matter what deck I use, I consider that an accomplishment. It doesn't happen often

used to play it with CI (with old Observatory) as CI nicely supports the strongest part of Reef deck: flyers - play this against DL and it's almost autowin, as DL has so few ways to counter bunch of Reefs and Reachs. (and for other domains it's usually also troublesome) Far uses Scorched Horizons to get it working quickly and it's really annoying deck. also, Reef is the only card you can control 3 wells on 2nd turn with (I lucked out once) (just casted Chamber + Reef and (almost) autopassed to win) Dublone made a good point - don't get too excited and remember, without vision you cannot win (cast those nifty spells like Inundation), so be sure to add some creatures (consider Water Weird also) but the real key here is testing: make a deck, play it, adjust it, play it, adjust it ...

I have long had this idea floating in my head, but I went away and never invested money. I will be buying a bunch of gold this weekend though so this is a list I am considering:
I control all the Water:
3 Chambered Reef 3 Marauding Puddle 3 Flash Flood 3 Water Wierd 3 Inundation 3 Thunderhead Reach 3 Naturescaping 3 Wandering Whorl 3 Windreader 3 Magma Chamber 3 Vapor Mahal 2 Grove 3 Teleport 1 Mogi Nest 1 Sleet Mogi
I also have another deck thats kind of unique Im considering building:
3 Crush of the Unknown 3 Banner of OO'tong 3 Shroud of Blackness 3 Cyclododo 3 Knight of Rogh 3 Claimed with Blood 3 Twisted Nomad 3 The Nothing 3 Vessel of Cathil 3 Piked Heads 3 Alter of Ix 3 Nether Plasma 3 Graveyard 3 Warren

First deck: too few creatures, but maybe it's just me who cannot play without them (or at least I tried .. and lost utterly every time) Second deck: sounds really crazy ... I like it but I don't think it will work very well.. oh btw check the latest Autodraw thread - you only have to have 1 Grove/Chamber/ any of these basic buildings - they will automatically get generated when you need them (and you will autodraw them)

Yeah was just recently updated on Autodraw. I think there are some flaws with second deck. I need more powerful creatures wherever I drop Banner of Oo'Tang so I can hold on to the border aquisition. Also the problem is construction sites. Im thinking of Goblin Workers or whatever the card is called. The one that instantly completes a building. Cause then I can drop Oo'Tang on border then complete and drop another building to hold it. And Crush gives me troops wherever I need them. Really considering Riders of Oo'Tong to hold on to aquisitions, and That Spies would work amazingly with Hallows Eve.
(Lol Im giving away all my ideas ><)
