I'll be brief.
We need screenshots with gameplay. Send 2-4 screenshots to altren(at)thefarwilds.com to participate. Do not compress images and do not use compressed file formats like jpeg (use png or something like that).
3D battles screenshots Prizes:
1st place - 100 gold.
2st place - 50 gold.
3st place - 25 gold.
Browser (2d) battles screenshots Prizes:
1st place - 100 gold.
2st place - 50 gold.
3st place - 25 gold.
And we are also paying 10 gold for each other screenshot (not from top 3), if we will use in website gallery or somewhere else.
End date of contest 1.07.2011.

To clarify for Americans (who read dates as Month/Day/Year instead of Day/Month/Year), the contest end date is July 1st (not Jan 7th).

What are you using to define "best screenshots"? Naming these is not an idle request, but pretty important, as it will help you get the types of screenshots that you want. I'd assume that the types of shots you want in the 3D client are ones that show "action" and not just a static shot of the game.... - creatures on the move, attacking, destroying things...
- spells in the middle of being cast with cool effects (lightning bolt)
- etc
As far as the web client goes, what are you looking for?

We are looking for everything what looks interesting.
Game positions, creatures action, spells effects(like drain blood or plack plague), battles with lot's of creatures, etc.
Naming is not necessary.
Game need lot of different screenshots.

Emancipate, we are not giving 10g gold for every picture (10g for pictures which are good and useful, but not got into top 3), so please stop spamming with screenshots  Also there is limit for them actually. grug wrote: Send 2-4 screenshots to altren(at)thefarwilds.com to participate. 15 screenshots is definetly more than 4! Looks like grug wrote this not enough clear about 10g for pictures (I fixed his post already), but images amount was there.

Sorry for delay. There was only few players who sent us screen shots, so it's hard to say if we have 1st 2nd and 3rd place in both nominations. So
emancipate won 100g
Wrexk won 50g
Loopy and Doering - 10g each.
