Ok so we decided that we can buy back cards from people that feel cheated/frustrated by the changes.

For people who have spent actual money on the game we will buy back cards for pre-balance market rates up to the amount of gold they bought. So if you paid $10 for gold at some point before the changes we will buy 500 gold of Sylvan or Elemental cards from you.

If you want to do this msg in the game.

Good dialogue about this. Still one of my favourite aspects of the game that the development team reads the boards.

One thing I wanted to mention was the MTG issue. I remember early on in MTG before they made the 4-of rule (they didn't realize people would ever buy that much) when people were playing ridiculous decks with 20 plague rats and dark rituals, or channel-fireball decks.. also, um, ancestral recall! yes the card's still worth something but talk about unbalanced! in short: magic has had 15 years to develop and they still occasionally make mistakes which screw people over. I think that even taking into account that TFW has had the benefit of some of those lessons from previous CCGs, people here have done a pretty good job in terms of developing the actual cards.

and i'm looking forward to the new set, and totally willing to stick around and play occasionally hoping the marketing and all that comes together too

1.) Is there a way for me to determine how much gold is available for use in this refund?
2.) Is it any gold I bought or only gold I spent on Sylvan/Elemental cards and is there a time window for the gold bought or just anytime before the latest balancing changes?
3.) Where can we find a list of the pre balance market rates being used?
4.) Do we get to pick which cards to sell back?
5.) and, do we have to use the full refund if we don't want to?

Any gold you bought.

There isn't a public list. I can tell you about specific cards when we are doing the trade.

yes

no you pick what cards you want. the only thing is if you do this you wont also get the balance refund I talked about earlier for people who's cards devalued because of the changes.
