I changed the format. Join "BL Beta Many Games". You can now play many many tiebreakers so they are essentially practice games. Only your first game of each day will count as real. (or first couple if you miss a day)

This league has the following structure:

Length: 8 days
Num games: 1 per day
Tie Breakers: 25
Num games per enemey: 15
Fee: 195 gold or 20 power (This goes into the prize pool)

You get access to 3 of every card in the game. This means all the seed set and all the cards in Borderlands. This also means that there will be brutal decks you will play against. Prepare to be beat down.

The Entry Fee goes into the prize pool which is split among the top finishing players.

*IMPORTANT* There will be card bugs. Bugs stand. Please no complaining that you lost a game because of some card bug. Just report the bug in this forum and we will fix it ASAP.

Please discuss cards in this forum as much as possible.

Overall I'm thrilled about the new set. The cards are all really flavorful. The illustrations are awesome.

That Hive is easily abused but its not brokenly overpowered. Maybe 3 Chaos Domains so its not as easily comboed with Soul Plague and Knowing Despair?

I looove Raw Power. Mostly it's a great game balancer, but it also makes my favorite deck "knowing despair + astridian forum" a little too easy I've discovered in the Beta League (although far from unbeatable).

Form Shadows or whatever new card lets you play a creature for free anywhere is obviously a little bit rediculous. Drop free War Blimp or Pheonix next to their base. GG if they don't have Lysis.

I haven't played around with Celestial Imperium yet but I've had a lot of fun stomping them with Dark Legion Chaos.

Howdy:

Ele creature card states "Any space under Marauding Puddle is Ocean as long as the Puddle is in this space." I battled against the AI and my Puddles kept dying at the end of round in spaces they had turned into water with ability. Not a game breaker by any stretch, but the card does not work as advertised. Thanks for checking this out The Jed. Have a great day! Just making CRAZY decks in the Beta has been fun!

Cordially,

DarkJello

I think the new set has some really good cards and some cards that seem too strong. The beta test was ok at first but once everyone saw the one great combo that is all you saw. I would reduce the number of card each player gets as no one has 3 of everything. Just my thinking out loud

What is this one great combo you speak of?

I ran into this one 4 games out of 5 and that was Woven Shadows and Rithig, Titan Pariah. Having three of each makes the chance of getting the combo high. Add Morph to that that brings back a creature. game over
