A lot of players (myself included) don't play in short duration leagues anymore because they don't lurk on TFW frequently enough to make it worthwhile (or people refuse to play against them). So that, in combination with a high sticker price means a number of people who might otherwise play won't be playing.

Personally, I don't really mind one way or another, just so long as this thought is acknowledged and considered in the decision making process. Said another way, high-pass filters are not exactly in the "spirit" of beta runs.

Strongly agreed.

IMHO, the best way to beta test a collection is the totally inverse.

IMHO, the best way is to give access to ALL borderlands cards in phantom card mode.
