Here's the question:
Name me a card in every domain which can deal with this one.
It might seem same as Tortured Ghost but the fact that it's flying makes almost unvulenrable.
I only can myself think of Lysis, Possession - or obligate Negate.
And if you say it has Lifespan - try to play it Abrixian Sparker then - or Underworld Gate, so it returns to your hand..
If you can't name those, maybe it's another candidate for some tweaking?

I've found the lifespan is extremely easy to reset.

I've also wondered if it needs some nerfing, but felt I should give it more playtesting first. I've seen a couple players deal with it by keeping their creatures out of reach, though at the expense of expanding.

Let's see what I can come up with:
Sylvan- Ascent (hopefully you also kill a building so they can't recast), Teleport (if well placed to keep it from attacking), Miscribed Circle (if you get lucky with the random placement)
Dark Legion - Lysis, Possession + Alter, Possession + Crypt Doct
Elemental - Icy Encasement
Mountain Folk - Negate seems to be your best hope
Imperial Celestium - I haven't played these enough to know.
Chaos - I forget the name**, but the card that makes a creature uncontrolled... Pyschoit Break! that's it.

**Could we please have a searchable list for the new set, somewhat like the market??

Any card that moves guys you can use to keep him away or your guys away long enough so he will die.
MF: Horns to Hide
Imperium: Healer, Whisk away, transcendence, leap of faith
Chaos: Tentacles, Trance Lantern, Mind Transplant

Draft Roc works good for any domain to pick up guys he happens to have killed before the end of the round.

All have ways but the best way seems to just be to run.

He is scary when he comes out but in practice doesn't seem that devastating. Maybe I just haven't had anyone use him well against me though.

This guy WAS very troublesome before nightmares got nerfed again and before Hunting Grounds was changed to spawn only up to 2 mastodons. Currently I'm honestly more afraid of Paladin of Xosa.

With Abrixian you can't keep your creatures from touch. Also most of the enchantments you've mentioned there aren't so usefull then. (If at all.) Ascent & Wisk Away are just temporar..
+it means they'll become necessary to play.. just in case you hit deck playing Manticores?
Also - against f.e. Icy Encasement - Mystic Feedback.. Manticore can't take damage, so she doesn't mind these 2 dmg dealed..

Hunting Grounds are good enough with it anyway, to provide you almost certain win :)
Try to play against it.. Billiska has one.. once he gets these out, you're done. Almost for sure.

Add some more counter-attacks:
Chaos: Cull the weak
DL: the building that put more age token in, sacrificing the attacked creature helps too.
And, no, I don't think the latest Hunting Grounds which only allows 2 mastodon is good enough any more.
