I was talking to voices about this card and came up with two possible ways to modify. This is on the assumption that it's a bit OP and will just motivate more all building decks since it tears through weak creatures. The simple solution is to lower it's vision, say to 2. That way against a rush it will still be great, but heading out it needs some support to hunt down more creatures. Curious to see what people think.

There is another thread about this guy. but again he doesn't seem too strong to me. Does anyone have a deck that puts him to OP use?

IMO the Manticore isn't OP. Flies slowly, anything can run out of its reach. With 2 vision I would never play it.

Vampiric Manticore is definitely on the strong side. I could see it's vision being reduced to 3 and still being a good card. It's like a super Zeppelin Raider, that lets you take other actions, doesn't die prematurely to damage, and has the chance to stick around for a long time.

Zeppelin Raiders could go with some boost btw. Now they're completely unplayable.
But well said..

I demand Zeppelin Raiders receive a boost in power! And... I want the name changed to "Jello Raiders of the Lost Ark" or I will be disturbingly obnoxious. What? Ohhh, apparently I already am disturbingly obnoxious. Well, I would be a sad geek then. :geek:

All in jest. Or am I?

Has everyone that's posted about VM being OP played against them and with them? If not, I challenge you to do so. I've done both, and I haven't found them to be OP in either case.
