So, as some of you may know, when I am on I'm usually either in a 2v2 game or trying to find 3 people to play one with. This is because I really like 2v2 matches, and think they are basically the funnest way to enjoy TFW. I know many do not agree with me on that, but I also know that many do. However, right now I do not believe TFW really is very team game friendly.I just have a few suggestions that I think would make the game much funner for anyone who enjoys team games.

First and foremost, your teammate should not be considered your opponent (duh). Earlier I was in a game and my opponent used a valley fog, so me and my teammate decided to hold off on using cards until we got a card that we were alright with losing. The teammate of the person who laid the valley fog then decided to place a grove, which was promptly cancelled by the valley fog.That...needs to be changed.

Also, I would like to see more features that encourage working as a team.Being able to build men at my teammates bases would be very cool.Also the ability to build in your teammates area of control without it being a construction site would be very cool. Being able to give your teammate flux is another feature I would like to see, but I can understand if that one does not get implemented I suppose.

Other than that, more customizable matches would be fun. I was talking with some players the other day and we all agreed that being able to have a 4 player match with 4 wells would be very fun.Also a 6 player option would be nice for large scale epic battles.

Well, that is about it, feel free to leave your own suggestions and comments on my ideas :D.

i have to agree.....i think more customizabe 2v2 would be a overall great idea.....and it would add to the "fun" aspect of the game more than most things. that may just be for the ones that like 2v2 alot but i do know several and of course im one of them :D i actually like all the ideas noob mentioned too. especially being able to build in your teammates control....of course an option for either one would be nice...maybe call it universal team mode....where you can play buildings and men in your teammates control.

I think he shouldn't be considered your opponent but I don't think you should be able to build or deploy things in their area. It's 2v2 not 1v1 with 2 players controlling both sides.

That's just my personal opinion. I think like a card allowing you to do those things could be a cool idea, but obvioiusly most people would be upset getting that card in a random pack.

If you were allowed to build in your opponents area... and your new building also "controlled" their flux well.. would you or your opponent get the flux from that well?

I like the idea of cards useful mostly in 2v2 games -- I don't know if they should be rare or odds, but making them uncommons would be good.

I can't agree with cards made specially for 2v2 mode, no matter how much I like it, it'd be useless for most of the people and you still can have SOO much fun there even with the old cards. Just think of some global cards.. (I won't tell ya my ideas, say sorry.)
Also noob you can actually create a 2v2 game with just 5 wells there. Try to check the options in Custom. :)

BUT I definitely agree with Valley Fog and the fact, that 2v2 needs more popularization throughout the Wilds... So.. let play some! :)

Perhaps there could be 2v2 tournaments where the prize is a special multi-player card!?

The winners of the 2v2 tourney would each get a copy of the card, which is trade able.

Every other player draws 2x cards. You draw x cards for every other player. x can't be more than 3 flux.

i.e. If you paid 2 flux in a 2v2 game, every player other than you would draw 2 cards, and you'd draw 3. If you paid 3 flux, they would all draw 3 cards, and you would draw 9.

Spell
Domain: MF, X
Flux: 2
Your opponents can't play any cards for the rest of this round. They may move figures in play and use activated abilities of figures in play.

If you read, I said four players with four wells, not five. I've checked the custom options many times ;).

And keyser, I must say that would be an awesome if implemented.Myself and a few others have discussed how cool 2v2 tourneys would be, but with cards specifically made for 2v2 as the prize, I think it would encourage teamwork and be very fun altogether. I vote yes :D

Hmm 4 wells for 4 players can lead to a very bad stalemate, where no one dares to attack. But could be worth checking out.

2v2 tournaments = great idea

Multiplayer maddness leagues or something (with no goddamned gold reward you cheating game wreckers you :evil: ).
Possibly something like a very scaled down version of the weeklong Wilds, One single match (lasting 1hour or so) but anyone can join in at any time (with extra small bonus starting flux dependent on what others already have on the map. In order to stand a chance).

Ok, realistically, theres not going to be any special cards made or given away. Its highly unlikely.

But yeah, I think more 2v2 would be awesome.

Id even go so far as to say 2v2 keep cards.

Cylone, it would be cool to have to brawl instead of just expand.At least, I think it would be a fun change of pace every once and a while.Also, it would be a cool place to actually use alternate glory methods, which could be fun as well :).


Ha UBER, way to crush teh dr33mz.
Then again, realistically there will be no change to 2v2.At least, it's highly unlikely.But it is still fun to dream :D.
But 2v2 KC, That would be very interesting.
