Is the Orb fun? It seems a bit too much like a trick thing to me, but I haven't played against it much.

Thats because I probably own 1/3 of all the orbs or more and rarely play it.

I personally think orb should be taken out of TFW.It just makes the game really not fun to play when you are playing against an orb deck...and that hurts TFW.

i guess i could see why some might say this card hurts tfw.....noob suggested taking it out altogether.......which definetly solve any problems that there might be about it......i think the idea of the card is rather cool....it sucks that it is kinda op because it seems like such a cool card.....the problem is u cant just have every card u can imagine cause obviously some would be op. I hate that it is kinda op but i guess thats just the way these games are. Seems theres always gonna be something comin out on top. Orb decks can be beaten. Though yea it does hurt certain other types of decks. especially slower creature heavy decks. i think maybe what needs to be done is the same thing that happened with bear strength......needs to be completely replaced somehow.....i have a cool idea for the card....

picture this.... a building that moves/wanders 1 space at a time...and is uncontrolled...when beside a creature...it makes that creature uncontrolled as well.....that way it basically has a handicap that would hurt the caster as well....i think maybe my idea needs to be tweaked some first off draknor would still work with it and u can make a creature uncontrolled once per round. but u wouldnt be able to sacrifice it to ix which is pretty good in both senses but it would cost flux to make it uncontrolled....i think it could be worth it tho if u were out of lysis or something i dunno. im not sure how strong it would be tho. anyways this is my only idea for now

i like monyx's idea of making orb of mind control uncontrolled.

make orb complete in 1-2 round... and have orb wander 2-3 spaces every round.
make the orb cause any creature it touches to become uncontrolled after every action

it will make the game a lot more interesting.

along these lines... it would be cool to have a card that randomly creates uncontrolled creatures every round with random locations.... maybe a lair of dimwitted manticores type of card...

Ha. I like the idea of the orb of uncontrol as well though.It wouldn't be op, and would be pretty cool :D.

Maybe aside from preventing it from being targets of enchants add isolation 2, if its close to another entity it wouldn't insta-build?

Also, the OP Orb of Mind Control has yet to dominate the EC scene... that I have heard of anyhow. Did this problem vanish? What say you fellow addicts?

Let us use strategory, as GW would say, to go after the evil dudes and such...

It hasn't dominated because it's too combo-centric. My orb deck looses to rush.
