Duchess attacked a Putrid Zombie and dealt it lethal damage.

Duchess text reads that any creature with less than 1 health with a hunger token becomes a bloodling.

The Zombie says that if it dies, it deals 2 damage to all things within 2.

If the Duchess has dealt Zombie damage so the health is 0, the Zombie should become a Bloodling and not deal damage to anything, because it never actually dies...

This, however, is not the case. What actually happened was: The Zombie blew up and NO Bloodling came into play..
